Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This is the privacy notice for cronvibe.com, operated by CronVibe ("we", "us"). It covers the information we deal with and the options open to you. Briefly: the schedule you click together is computed locally and never leaves your machine.

Which tool this covers

CronVibe is a cron expression generator and explainer: it builds and decodes cron schedules visually, shows the plain-English meaning, the next run times and conflicting fields. In practice, it parses the five (or six) fields into their allowed ranges, expands steps, ranges and lists, then evaluates the expression forward from the current time to list the next scheduled runs. This page should be read with that tool in mind, because the limits described apply to what it computes.

Everything the tool works with — the schedule you click together — is handled locally. It is usually reached for things like spotting two rules that overlap, and because nothing is transmitted a visitor can close the tab knowing no copy was made anywhere.

Your inputs

All processing happens on your device. Your input is handed to the page's own script, a result comes back, and that is the whole exchange. No request leaves your machine, and no copy of what you entered exists once the tab is closed.

Analytics

We watch which of the CronVibe tools get used, in aggregate, so that effort goes where it is useful. That is the extent of it — no individual profile, and no analytics event ever includes the values you entered.

The snippets you drop in

Code, configuration, tokens and API payloads you paste into a tool are processed locally. Nothing is uploaded, so nothing leaves a copy on a server — which also means you can use the tool on a string you would not want to send anywhere.

Security and data retention

There is nothing of yours to keep, so there is no retention period to describe for calculator input: it exists only in your browser tab and disappears when you leave. The site is served over HTTPS throughout.

Children and the site

These tools are built for a general adult audience rather than for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, and would remove it on being told.

Rights you can exercise

Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information held about you, or to object to certain processing. Because we do not store what you enter, there is usually no personal data to produce — but you are welcome to ask.

How this policy changes

We may update this page as the site changes. Material changes are reflected in the "last updated" date above.

What is collected automatically

The hosting layer sees what any web server sees — client address, requested path, user agent, time — and that is the limit of it. None of those records contains the values you type into the cron expression generator and explainer, because those never reach the server.

Cookies and advertising

Advertising keeps the site free and is delivered by external networks, which may use cookies or similar technologies to show interest-based ads. Google, as one such partner, lets you opt out through its ad settings. Turning cookies off does not break anything here.
